Terms of Service

Last updated · 2026-05-05

These terms govern your use of TheSimpleOrder. By signing up you agree to them. Read them — they’re written to be readable.

The service

We provide a software platform to manage food-business operations: leads, quotes, orders, payments, subscriptions. We don’t cook, deliver, or stand in for any payment processor — we’re the software layer between those.

Your account

  • You’re responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
  • You must be at least 18, and authorised to bind the organisation you’re creating.
  • One account per person; you can be in multiple organisations.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use the platform to break the law.
  • Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, or rate-abuse the service.
  • Don’t send spam through the email or notification surfaces.
  • Don’t upload customer data you don’t have a lawful basis to process.

We may suspend an organisation that materially violates these rules — suspension is reversible while we investigate, after which we’ll reinstate or close the account.

Billing

  • Plan prices are listed at /pricing. The Starter tier is ₹999 / month or ₹9,999 / year (India pricing) and includes a 14-day free trial. Cancelling during the trial owes you nothing.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in your chosen currency.
  • Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
  • We may change prices with 30 days’ written notice; existing paid terms keep their current price until renewal.

Your data and customer data

You retain ownership of all data you put into TheSimpleOrder. We process it only to provide the service. See the privacy policy for the details.

Service availability

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime. We don’t commit to it contractually at the Starter or Growth tier; the Pro tier carries an SLA. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance whenever practical.

Liability

TheSimpleOrder is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost profits, lost data beyond our backups, third-party gateway failures, and so on.

Termination

You can close your organisation any time from Settings. We can terminate for material breach with notice. On termination we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, with the standard exceptions for legal retention.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru.
