No professional advice

Information on this site, in the dashboard, and in our communications is for general guidance only. It’s not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Tax-rate seeds (GST 18%, VAT 5/20%, etc.) reflect common defaults — your specific obligations may differ. Always check with a qualified professional in your jurisdiction before relying on what TheSimpleOrder calculates or generates.

Invoices and tax compliance

TheSimpleOrder produces tax invoices using region-aware templates. The accuracy of those invoices depends on the data you enter — your registered legal name, tax ID (GSTIN, VAT, ABN, etc.), addresses, and the tax mode you’ve selected. We don’t verify any of this against authority records. You’re responsible for the compliance of every invoice your organisation issues.

Payment gateways

Payments are processed by your connected payment gateway. We pass instructions through; we don’t hold funds. Disputes, chargebacks, refund timing, and KYC requirements are governed by the gateway’s own terms — not ours. We’re not liable for losses caused by gateway downtime, settlement delays, or their compliance actions.

Subscription billing

Recurring billing relies on your connected payment gateway. If a charge fails, your subscription enters a halted state and the customer is notified. We don’t guarantee successful collection — it’s your responsibility to follow up on failed payments.

Public pages and SEO

Vendor-public surfaces (lead-capture forms, public quote views, invoices, customer portals, blog posts) are rendered with the data you supply. We don’t pre-screen content. Don’t put anything on a public surface that you wouldn’t want indexed by search engines or quoted by AI assistants.

Third-party content

Links to third-party sites are provided as-is. We don’t endorse or take responsibility for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

Limitation

Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that can’t be limited under the law that applies to you.
